Raspberry Pi Pico 2 builds on the huge success of the original Raspberry Pi Pico product and its derivatives, which were launched in 2021 and 2022. It is powered by the brand-new RP235x microcontroller platform, designed by Raspberry Pi.
The unique dual-core, dual-architecture capability of RP2350 allows users to choose between a pair of industry-standard Arm Cortex-M33 cores and a pair of open-hardware Hazard3 RISC-V cores. Programmable in C / C and Python, and with detailed documentation, Raspberry Pi Pico 2 is the ideal microcontroller board for enthusiasts and professional developers alike.
In comparison with its predecessor, RP2040, RP235x offers:
- A 150MHz system clock (versus 133MHz)
- Dual Arm Cortex-M33 cores (versus dual Arm Cortex-M0 )

Raspberry Pi Pico 2 pairs RP2350 with 4MB of on-board QSPI Flash memory (versus 2MB on Raspberry Pi Pico) for code and data storage.
The Pico 2 does not include GPIO or debugging pins, you'll need to purchase and attach the variety of your choice. We suggest . Once the header pins are in place, the Pico can be attached directly to a breadboard for wiring and prototyping.
